Every year at Christmas, it was a tradition for my mother and I to put Christmas ornaments on our tree that I had made through the years as a child. It was our way of “strolling down memory lane” as my grandmother would say of our tradition. Being twenty-four years of age now, I look back on this tradition as spending valuable time with my mother that is not as plentiful now as it was then. I wanted to share this memory with others so maybe other mothers and daughters could share in the tradition.
Thanks for the post Becca. I hope you inspired someone to put the ornaments on with their mother, or start the tradition with their child.
